Scrub Up Your Way – Terms & Conditions of Entry
By registering for and participating in Scrub Up Your Way as part of Gold Coast Hospital Foundation’s Scrub Up September, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals, teams, schools and organisations within Australia. Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Registration
All participants must register via the official Scrub Up September website and provide accurate and complete information. Participants are responsible for keeping their details up to date.
3. Fundraising Activities
Participants agree to conduct their fundraising activities in a lawful, ethical and safe manner, and in a way that reflects positively on Gold Coast Hospital Foundation.
Participants must not:
- Engage in any activity that could harm the reputation of the Foundation
- Conduct raffles, lotteries or gaming activities without appropriate permits
- Misrepresent the purpose of the fundraising or how funds will be used
4. Use of Funds
All funds raised through Scrub Up Your Way must be paid directly to Gold Coast Hospital Foundation via the official fundraising platform or as otherwise directed.
Funds raised will be used at the sole discretion of Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, in line with its charitable purpose. Any reference to a specific cause, department or use of funds on a participant’s page is indicative only and does not guarantee allocation, unless expressly approved in writing by the Foundation prior.
5. Donations
All donations are voluntary and, where eligible, may be tax-deductible. Donations are non-refundable except as required by law.
6. Use of Name and Images
By participating, you consent to Gold Coast Hospital Foundation using your name, images, and fundraising content for promotional and marketing purposes, unless you advise otherwise.
7. Liability
Participants take part at their own risk. Gold Coast Hospital Foundation is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage sustained as a result of participation in fundraising activities.
8. Cancellation or Changes
The Foundation reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Scrub Up Your Way initiative at any time if necessary.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Foundation’s privacy policy and used for the purposes of administering the campaign and communicating with participants.
10. Acceptance
By registering and participating, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
